System Administrator – Helpdesk Support

This is a Full-time position in Brussels.

Responsabilities

As 1st line helpdesk support, your main tasks will be:

  • To provide support for all hardware/software problems;
  • To register incidents with a ticketing tool;
  • To dispatch incidents to 2nd and 3rd line support helpdesks for more complex problems;
  • To follow-up of the incident management.

As part of the IT Infrastructure Team, you will be in charge of:

  • Troubleshooting and monitoring of systems;
  • Controlling the availability of the windows systems and backups;
  • Taking part in IT projects like hardware and software migrations;
  • Dealing with access rights;
  • Proposing infrastructure improvements.

 

Profile

You have an IT bachelor or equivalent through experience.
You have 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar function.
You master the following technologies :

  • Windows Server (2003/2008)
  • Windows XP/7
  • VMWare
  • Active Directory
  • MS Office
  • Anti-spam
  • Printers

You are fluent in Dutch and French with a good technical knowledge of English.
You are a good communicator, stress-resistant and client-oriented.
