Finance BI Analyst

Responsabilities

As BI Analyst you will join the Business Information team. Your role will be to support the Business Planning & Investments department in implementing the Financial reporting strategy. You will use your expertise to support the business in defining their information and reporting needs and collaborate with the technical team at implementing the best solutions in order to help the business keeping a close monitoring on its operational and strategic kpi’s. You will also provide the needed training related to the use of the reports and BI systems. Business Information is responsible for the client information systems, the creation and maintenance of the company reports and dashboards and the data quality of our data warehouses. Business Planning and Investments is responsible for the financial analysis, planning and reporting for the client and related entities.

You will be responsible for :

• Identifying the reporting and dashboarding needs in the domain of financial reporting
• Building together with the report development team the best reporting solutions
• Supporting the IT teams at implementing the client financial data warehouse by providing business requirements and proceeding to application testing
• Maintaining the reporting catalogue and Business glossary in the finance domain
• Providing support and training to the end users in terms of information needs and BI systems use
• Supporting the client European BI strategy

Profile

• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience as a BI consultant
• You have a firm and active knowledge of SAP Business Objects solutions
• You have active knowledge of BI solutions built on top of FICO SAP modules
• You understand the data warehousing concepts
• You are trilingual: French, Dutch and English
• You have excellent communication skills
• You are result oriented
• You are a real teamplayer
